On the 28th of Sept, 2022 the FIT Insights provided support to the community of Otuke in the installation, and factory layout planning for the newly registered Yao Shea Producers Association. On that Blue, Ocean Engineers installed 5 ton shea processing machinery that will enable the community to crush the shea into Vaseline, vegetable fat and shea cooking oil.
The main purpose of the consultancy service will be to conduct value chain market development mapping and channeling for the selected shea nut oil subsector. It will include but is not limited to conducting sub sector mini analysis, spelling out the viability options for the identified products and services; the appropriate channels; building of business models, costing the operation system; supporting the groups for business formalization; capacity building of the group leaders in system flow and quality assurance in the production of the selected products.
