FIT Insights Limited was engaged as the lead strategic and technical partner in the creation and operational launch of ELLO DOCTOR FOUNDATION LIMITED, a social impact health organization aimed at transforming healthcare access in marginalized and rural communities. The collaboration began with detailed problem mapping and an ecosystem analysis of Uganda’s primary healthcare delivery challenges, especially in areas affected by limited medical infrastructure, few qualified personnel, and unaffordable services.
FIT Insights conducted a feasibility and needs assessment study, identifying the service gaps and digital opportunities in the healthcare sector. Using this data, FIT Insights developed a business concept and strategic framework for ELLO DOCTOR, aligning it with both public health goals and scalable social enterprise models. This included defining the foundation’s mission, vision, and core programs; building the logic model and theory of change; and crafting a sustainable operational roadmap.
A crucial aspect of FIT’s involvement was in formalizing the organization, from registering it as a legal entity to establishing governance policies, board structures, and internal systems for finance, HR, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E). FIT also developed the operational procedures, service delivery guidelines, and digital health integration roadmap that are now central to ELLO DOCTOR’s model.
Beyond internal systems, FIT Insights also led the branding, communications, and stakeholder engagement strategy. It helped position ELLO DOCTOR as a credible and innovative partner in health access, community outreach, and digital telemedicine. The organization is now poised to deploy mobile health clinics, digital consultation services, and health education programs to address service inequality and improve preventive care.

FIT Insights Limited developed MAALICARD as a strategic response to the financial exclusion faced by millions of individuals and small enterprises across Africa. Rooted in FIT’s mission to promote inclusive financial solutions, MAALICARD is a neobanking innovation designed to provide secure, convenient, and traceable digital financial services to the unbanked and underbanked populations, including youth, informal traders, and rural communities.
The primary role of FIT Insights in developing MAALICARD was to conceptualize, design, and implement an end-to-end digital finance ecosystem. This ecosystem integrates a digital wallet (MAALIPOT), a prepaid ATM card (MAALICARD), and a payment gateway (MAALIPAY). FIT led the market research, user experience design, technology partnership structuring, and regulatory compliance processes to ensure the solution meets both user needs and financial standards.
The purpose of MAALICARD is to reduce dependence on cash, enhance financial literacy, and enable users to save, transfer, and manage money digitally. It also supports peer-to-peer transactions, merchant payments, and inward remittances. MAALICARD is further integrated with an agency banking model that expands access through local agents. Through this innovation, FIT Insights bridges the gap between traditional banking systems and financially underserved communities, fostering inclusion, security, and economic empowerment.

FIT Insights Limited played a pivotal role in supporting 345 women and men engaged in shea nut production in Uganda by developing market-driven product strategies and sustainable value chain linkages. Through field assessments, training, and capacity-building programs, FIT empowered local producers with improved post-harvest handling, quality control techniques, and knowledge in value-added shea butter processing, enabling them to meet national and international standards.
FIT also facilitated direct market linkages between producers and buyers in the cosmetic and food industries, promoting fair trade and increased income. By building inclusive business models and connecting cooperatives with export-ready markets, FIT contributed to sustainable rural livelihoods and economic resilience.

FIT also ensured reliable hosting, data security, and ease of content management to empower Diocese staff with ongoing control. It provides secure, scalable, and affordable hosting for applications like Maalicard, learning portals, and financial tools.
ServiceNow, integrated within the Maaliclouds ecosystem, offers workflow automation, IT service management (ITSM), and operational efficiency solutions. Together, they enable organizations to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and manage digital operations with real-time data tracking. This synergy supports innovation, compliance, and productivity across finance, education, and health sectors in emerging economies.
