James Hurry Oyuru is a seasoned Projects and Business Strategy Consultant with over a decade of experience in value chain development, agricultural market systems, monitoring and evaluation, and business development services across Uganda and the East African region. With a Master of Science in Project Management from Cavendish University, a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Economics from Makerere University, and multiple professional diplomas in Computer Systems Engineering and Business Management, James brings a rare blend of analytical, technical, and entrepreneurial expertise to the development sector.

James has worked extensively with national and international organizations including the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), CARE International, Swiss Contact, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), AVSI Foundation, World Vision, and the National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS). His work has directly impacted agricultural communities through the development of business models, strategic plans, market assessments, and value chain interventions—especially in high-impact areas such as shea nut, coffee, cocoa, mushrooms, garlic, and other agricultural commodities.
