MaaliSacco is a service provided by FIT Insights. FIT initiated the cooperative, chairs its Formation Committee and provides its technology through MaaliClouds. MAALI Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Limited is being developed as a member-owned, digitally managed cooperative — starting with at least 35 founding members and designed to grow into a network of SACCOs and a future MAALI Cooperative Union.
What FIT provides
- Formation support: concept note, founders’ MOU, constitution, by-laws and member register
- The SACCO core system, digital KYC and mobile savings on MaaliClouds
- Collections and disbursements through MaaliPay and MaaliPot
- Governance, strategy and financial-literacy training through the FIT Capacity Academy
What members get
- Digital by design: mobile savings, online loan applications and statements, virtual meetings and a hybrid AGM
- Wealth, not just loans: investment committees and financial education
- Network vision: shared services that other SACCOs can join

MaaliSacco will register with MTIC and apply to UMRA for a SACCO licence before taking deposits or lending.
